Travel Surgical Technologist Job
Overview
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Setting: Operating room
- Employment type: Travel
- Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- On-call: 1–2 call shifts per week, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- BLS
- 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Ortho/Joint experience
Preferred Experience
- Level I and trauma experience
- Prior Meditech experience
Unit Details
- 14 operating rooms
- Typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, and 1 ST per OR during the day
- Common procedures include Neuro, Transplants, Ortho, and Spine
Work Environment
- Team-oriented role
- Requires accountability, expertise, and self-direction
- Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed
