Angio/Interventionalist
Location
Billings, Montana
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Overview
Responsible for completing angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and taking images. The role also involves procedural support in the angio lab, patient preparation, and assisting with a range of interventional and CT-guided procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Montana
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
- 1 to 2 years of vascular experience
- Experience performing angiography procedures
- Experience in vascular procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of Angio/Interventional experience
- Vascular/Interventional Radiography Certification
- Relevant state licensure and/or certifications
Key Responsibilities
- Provide procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech
- Operate IR equipment and related information systems
- Verify patient identity and prepare patients for exams
- Follow radiation safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information after procedures
- Assist with sheath removal or suturing for hemostasis
- Assist with SIRT mapping/treatments, embolizations, neph tube placements, biliary tube placements, CT-guided drains/biopsies/ablations, and neuro-IR stroke and diagnostic procedures
