Pediatric PACU RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Charlottesville, Virginia
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Pediatric peri-anesthesia unit with postoperative pediatric observation care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care (1 year of experience)
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule Notes
- 36 hours per week
- Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved
- 50-mile radius rule applies
Unit Details
- 10-bed pediatric preoperative and postoperative unit
- Includes a 4-bed Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit for overnight observation or extended recovery up to 23 hours after surgery
