CT Technologist
Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Johns Island, South Carolina
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- Call Requirement: No
- Floating: May float within scope to like units
- First-time Travelers: Not accepted
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience
- Registered in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-C)
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Work Expectations
- Provide quality imaging and patient care in X-ray and CT
- Explain procedures clearly to patients
- Produce images for interpretation or at the request of a licensed practitioner
Preferred Experience
- Emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams in both modalities
- Siemens equipment
- Epic
- PACS
Additional Notes
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
- Radius rule applies: 60 miles
- Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
