CT Technologist

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: Johns Island, South Carolina
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
  • Call Requirement: No
  • Floating: May float within scope to like units
  • First-time Travelers: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience
  • Registered in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-C)
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Work Expectations

  • Provide quality imaging and patient care in X-ray and CT
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients
  • Produce images for interpretation or at the request of a licensed practitioner

Preferred Experience

  • Emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams in both modalities
  • Siemens equipment
  • Epic
  • PACS

Additional Notes

  • Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
  • Radius rule applies: 60 miles
  • Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
