Home Health RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Setting: Home Health
Role Summary
- Provides and coordinates home nursing care based on physician orders, agency policies, and the nursing process.
- Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.
- Typical caseload is 5–8 patients per day.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Home Health (1 year of experience)
- Home Health experience within the last year
- Hospice experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Driver's License
- Experience with Homecare Homebase
- Experience with OASIS
Schedule / Coverage
- Weekend rotation every fourth weekend.
- On-call every fourth week.
- Territory includes Hull, Halifax, Kingston, Plymouth, Pembroke, Marion, Mattapoiset, and Wareham.
Productivity Expectations
- 30 productivity points per week.
Charting / Systems
- Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last 6 months.
- OASIS proficiency is required for RNs.
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
- Scrubs are the dress code.
