RN (Registered Nurse)
Location
- Durango, Colorado
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
- Must have experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and Ativan
- Driver’s license must be submitted
Clinical Expectations
- Must be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin
- May float across multiple PCU/IMC units and to ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
- Expected to float within a 60-mile radius zone
- Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
Schedule Expectations
- Schedule is set by leadership in 6-week blocks
- 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
- Rare call/standby for low census
Orientation
- 1–2 days with a preceptor
- Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
Additional Notes
- Travelers are responsible for securing housing that allows them to meet the 60-mile floating requirement
- Any color scrubs are allowed
