- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS certification
- ICU/Intermediate (Stepdown) experience with 3:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Trach and ventilator experience
Assignment Details
- Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
- First to float as needed
- No call or standby requirement
- Titrates drips
- Uses bedside monitors
- EPIC orientation is included
Unit Details
- 20-bed stepdown unit
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 3:1
- Charge nurse is available each shift
- 2 patient care techs per shift
- Common patient population includes respiratory, cardiac, renal, diabetic, sepsis, neuro, surgical, and withdrawal cases
Additional Notes
- Drug screen required
- Requested time off and the last four digits of SSN are needed for submission
- Middle initial is needed for submission
