Description
RN (Registered Nurse) — Gastrointestinal Services
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 36 hours per week
- 9-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends, call, or holidays
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ACLS
- Proficiency in IV skills, post-anesthesia care, airway management, procedural sedation, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Clinical Setting
- Pre-op and Phase II recovery for advanced GI procedures
- Typical cases include EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, stone management, and GI bleed
- Inpatient and outpatient patients
- High-volume advanced GI cases
Unit Details
- 6–7 procedure rooms
- 28 pre/post bays
- About 20–30 cases per day
- Charge nurse on each shift
Additional Information
- No floating
- Own scrubs required; no specific color
- 1 week of pre/post orientation
- 12 non-billable orientation hours
- Drug screen required
- Requested submission items include the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
