RN - ACCU - Travel
Location
- Moreno Valley, California
Contract
- 8 weeks
- Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS
- BLS
- Conscious Sedation
- NIHSS
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- 5 years of Critical Care Float experience
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Preferred
- CCRN
- 1 year of travel experience
Assignment Details
- Float assignment includes ICU, ED, PACU, and IMC units
- Care is for ICU patients, with some full IMC patient care in the ED and designated units
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, reassessments, care planning, medication administration, treatment/procedure delivery, documentation, patient/family education, and coordination with the care team
- Provide critical care nursing tasks including monitoring, recognizing dysrhythmias, managing pain and sedation protocols, following sepsis, ventilator-associated pneumonia, pressure ulcer, and central line protocols, and using pressure monitoring and bedside cardiac monitors
- Follow safety, infection control, transfusion, restraint, disaster, rapid response, and life safety procedures
