Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Preoperative experience within the last year
- 1 year of preoperative experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Experience with Meditech
Preferred Experience
- Competence in Pre-op / Phase 2 experience
- Excellent IV skills
Schedule / Call
- Rotating weekday and weekend call
- Weekend call rotates Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM, about 1 weekend every 4–5 weeks
Unit Details
- 13 beds
- Typical patient ratio: 3:1
- Day shift staffing includes a CNC, Pre-op RNs, a Phase 2 RN, and a PCT
- Night shift is closed
