Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Santa Rosa, California
• 13-week assignment
• 34-bed emergency department
• Adult and pediatric patients
• Basic ED level 3 semi/stroke receiving center
• No trauma
• 4:1 patient ratio
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:00–06:00
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with Epic

• EPIC experience required
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Full 7-year work history required in the application, including city and state, with no gaps
• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
• Education verification required
• Employment history verification required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start
• Negative TB screening required within 90 days of start
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• Color vision screening required if applicable
• Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start
• Candidate must review and sign required onboarding documents prior to start
