RN (Registered Nurse)

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Nights, 12-hour shifts
Hours
36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Indiana or compact RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS certification
- 2 years of PCU or Stepdown experience
- Previous neuro experience
Schedule / Work Conditions
- Floating is required to like units and may include MedSurg
- Three weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- The employee would never work alone
Unit Details
- Neuro stepdown/progressive care patients
- May titrate drips if experienced with it
- If floated to MedSurg, patient ratio is 1:3
- Progressive care ratio is 3-4:1
- MedSurg ratio is 4-5:1
Orientation / Training
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Jumpstart program
- EPIC training
- 1-2 days on the unit
Additional Notes
- Local clinicians within 50 miles are subject to a reduced rate
- Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment
- Caribbean blue scrubs are required
