RN (Registered Nurse)

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Contract Length

22 weeks

Shift

Nights, 12-hour shifts

Hours

36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Indiana or compact RN license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS certification
  • 2 years of PCU or Stepdown experience
  • Previous neuro experience

Schedule / Work Conditions

  • Floating is required to like units and may include MedSurg
  • Three weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
  • The employee would never work alone

Unit Details

  • Neuro stepdown/progressive care patients
  • May titrate drips if experienced with it
  • If floated to MedSurg, patient ratio is 1:3
  • Progressive care ratio is 3-4:1
  • MedSurg ratio is 4-5:1

Orientation / Training

  • 8 hours of non-billable orientation
  • Jumpstart program
  • EPIC training
  • 1-2 days on the unit

Additional Notes

  • Local clinicians within 50 miles are subject to a reduced rate
  • Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment
  • Caribbean blue scrubs are required
