Operating Room RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse
• Location: Abingdon, Virginia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: Rotational weekend call is required; weekday call may also be required on a rotational basis
• Orientation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule / Assignment Notes

• General orientation begins on Sundays
• Start date can be any Sunday once compliance documents are completed by the deadline
• One shift may be canceled or called off biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
• Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed based on census or resource needs without penalty
