GI Lab RN Travel/Contract Job
Overview
- Location: Modesto, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- GI Lab (2 years of experience)
- GI Lab experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule Expectations
- At least 1–2 weekday call shifts per week
- 1 weekend regular shift plus call every 8 weeks
Additional Notes
- Local pay differs from standard travel pay
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
- Unit-specific skills checklist is required
- Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application with city and state, with no gaps
- Employment gaps over 30 days must be explained
- 2 professional references are required for clinical candidates
- Background check and other pre-start compliance items are required, including health screening and immunization documentation
