Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Concord, Massachusetts
Schedule
- Nights
- 36 hours per week
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- No call
- Must be flexible on scheduled days
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Prior travel experience required
- NRP
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a respiratory therapy program
Experience
- Travel experience required
- Previous respiratory therapy experience strongly preferred
- Previous patient care experience preferred
Job Summary
- Provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
- Evaluates, treats, and reassesses patients following physician orders
- Works independently and with physicians and nursing staff on therapeutic modalities
- Participates in code team and rapid response team activities
- Provides patient and family education
- Assists with orientation and training of respiratory and nursing personnel
- Participates in quality improvement and departmental education activities
- Transports patients
- Assists with special projects, equipment, and stock inventory control
