Schedule

Day shifts
12 hours per day
36 hours per week
Generally Monday through Friday, with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
Call required: 3 weekday evening/night call shifts and 3 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule
Call response time: 30 minutes
Holidays rotate with core staff

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
2 full years of OR nursing experience

Assignment Details

Travel contract
1:1 ratio
11 operating suites, staffed for 6–7 open daily
15–30 cases per day
Common cases include ortho, neuro, and general; no transplants
Scrubbing not required for RNs
Floating not required
Floor orientation lasts about 1 week or until comfortable
Preference cards are used

No IV team
Respiratory therapy available 24/7
Pharmacy available 24/7
