Description
CT Technologist
Location
- Omaha, Nebraska
Schedule
- Nights
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Fri/Sat/Sun, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Call required
- Holidays required as needed and scheduled
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
- ARRT(CT)(R)
- AHA BLS
- Level 1 trauma center experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospital experience
- GE equipment experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality CT exams and all procedures offered by the department
- Perform QA
- Maintain favorable scan times aligned with benchmark and team standards
- Help ensure the department is stocked and compliant with standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, families, students, and other healthcare personnel
- Work with neuro, body, MSK, CTA, IR procedures, 3D reformats, colonography, enterography, urograms, trauma scans, and dual-energy cases
Work Setting
- Floating to other locations within the CT department under the same manager
Training
- 6-week orientation for outside candidates
- Assigned preceptor
- Mid-point check at 3 weeks
Additional Notes
- Red scrubs required
- Local candidates are not accepted; 100-mile radius restriction applies
