    Ultrasound Tech - General

    Job Overview

    • Travel/contract role in Oakland, California
    • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
    • 40 hours per week
    • Contract length: 13 weeks

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform technical ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist
    • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required

    Required Qualifications

    • Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
    • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
    • ARDMS or ARDMS AB certification
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

    Schedule / Work Conditions

    • May float to South Imaging and 5730 Telegraph in Oakland
    • Weekends as needed

    Additional Notes

    • Solid color scrubs are required and not provided
    • Background check required, including a 7-year background check within 6 months of start
    • Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
    • TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start
    • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
    • Fit test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually
    • Drug screen required within 6 months of start
    • Flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season
    • Color vision deficiency must be assessed in person by a licensed healthcare provider before start
    • Employment application must include a full 7 years of work history with no gaps
    • Unit-specific skills checklist required
