Job Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Santa Rosa, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12 hours
- Shift times: 5:30 AM–6:00 PM or 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Unit focus: Pre/post area for Surgery, Endo, Cath, IR, Radiology, and Infusions
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Preoperative experience within the last year
- 2 years of preoperative experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Additional Requirements
- 7-year background check
- Sex offender search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM search
- HHS/OIG search
- FACIS Level 3 screening
- California Medi-Cal search result if FACIS III cannot be run
- Education verification of highest level achieved, unless highest education level is high school
- Official transcripts or diploma may be accepted only after unsuccessful verification attempts
- TB screening questionnaire within 90 days of start and renewed annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start and renewed annually
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
- Flu vaccination documentation during flu season
- Color vision exam by a licensed healthcare provider if color deficiency is present
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Full 7-year work history in the application with no gaps
- Work history verification for up to 7 years, with gaps over 30 days explained
- References are required by the staffing agency, not the facility
- Review and sign required pre-start facility documents

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions
