Registered Nurse - Infusion Therapy
Job Overview

Role Summary
Provides nursing care for patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional cardiac catheterization, and other diagnostic procedures. Duties include pre-procedure assessment, sedation monitoring, patient education, assisting with procedures, and supporting recovery care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Infusion (2 years of experience)
- Infusion experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology experience
Preferred
- Recent travel work history
Key Responsibilities
- Performs nursing care for catheterization and angiography cardiovascular patients
- Assists with stress testing, echocardiograms, cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, and other interventional radiology procedures
- Evaluates patients for safety before testing
- Inserts PICC lines using ultrasound guidance
- Operates and maintains cardiac and nursing equipment
- Scrubs in for procedures with the physician
- Documents procedure-related information and develops cardiovascular education materials
- Participates in patient transport when higher-level care is needed
