Description
RN - CVICU
Overview
- Travel nursing role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Inpatient CVICU assignment with adult patients.
- Will work on the TICU unit, which is the official overflow for CVICU patients.
- 3x12 nights.
- No call.
- Weekends required.
- Only 1 major holiday off per contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- CVICU experience within the last year.
- 1 year of CVICU experience.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent.
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA-approved equivalent.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Education from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Clinical Experience / Skills
- CVICU RN travelers trained on Balloon pump and Impella devices.
- Balloon pump operation.
- Impella device operation.
