RN NICU

Overview

  • Location: Boston, Massachusetts
  • Employment type: LTA
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 36 hours, rotating
  • Schedule note: Must be able to work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
  • Holiday requirement: Must work Thanksgiving or Christmas

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • 1 year of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
  • NRP issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

  • License or certification verification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
  • MA conditional licenses are not accepted
  • NURSYS and BON verification are required for nursing licenses
  • N95 fit test completed within 365 days of start date and updated annually
  • Respirator medical clearance attestation required if fit test is required for the skill
  • MMR documentation or proof of immunity
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
  • Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA within 365 days of start date
  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date
  • Massachusetts CORI completed within 30 days prior to start date
  • Education verification of highest level achieved
  • SSN trace
  • National sex offender check within 30 days of start date and updated annually
  • Exclusion checks within 30 days of start date and annually
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance
  • Beeline attestation upon registration

Optional / Conditional

  • Positive TB test history requires a chest x-ray showing no active tuberculosis
  • Name change documentation may be required if legal name differs from credential or profile records
