Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech
Location
- Scottsburg, Indiana
Schedule
- Night shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Contract Length
- 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT)
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
- Radiology Technologist experience
Job Responsibilities
- Produce diagnostic images using imaging and computer equipment
- Verify exam orders and assess appropriateness using patient data and developmental considerations
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine whether additional imaging is needed
- Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to reduce exposure
- Educate patients about procedures in an age-appropriate manner
- Maintain infection control and quality control standards
- Supervise and train students during clinical rotations
