Description
Cardiac Device RN
Location
- Burien, Washington
Schedule
- Day shift
- 13-week contract
- 40 hours per week
- Clinic hours are typically Monday–Friday, with staggered start times
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
Clinical Setting
- Outpatient clinic with peri-operative management for inpatient needs
- Adult and geriatric patients
Key Responsibilities
- Device management
- Post-operative wound checks
- Remote monitoring of devices
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Work Environment
- Covers outpatient settings
- Travel between Tacoma and Gig Harbor outpatient clinics is expected
- Permanent staff support is available
- Device reps are available for support
- Physicians and APPs are approachable and willing to teach
Orientation
- General orientation: 2–5 days
- Preceptor time: 1–5 days, depending on check-off status
Additional Notes
- Scrubs required; no color preference
- Weekend, holiday, and call requirements are none
