Operating Room RN
Job Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Arlington, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Hours per week: 40
- Call: 3–4 call shifts every 6 weeks, 8 hours each
- Start timing: ASAP, dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a Level II Trauma center
- Experience with trauma, neuro, and ortho spine
Work Setting
- Operating Room
Additional Notes
- EPIC OR traveler training is part of the start process
- Flu vaccine is required during flu season unless an approved medical or religious exemption is in place
- Candidate must complete pre-start onboarding, background, health screening, and facility documents before beginning assignment
