Description
RN - Cardiovascular Surgery
Role Overview
- Travel RN in the Operating Room, Main building.
- Unit staffing includes 1 RN / 1 CST per room, turnover staff, 1 charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage.
- Floating is not required.
- Scheduled for 3 call shifts (12 hours) every 4 weeks.
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- ACLS
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair experience
- Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) experience
- Femoral-popliteal (Fem-Pop) bypass experience
- Mitral valve replacement experience
- Aortic valve replacement experience
- Heart and valve replacement experience
- Thoracic Surgery experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Trauma experience

- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Procedures include general, trauma, ortho, urology, GYN, XI robotic, plastics, neuro, and cardio/thoracic cases
- Equipment includes XI Robot, advanced spine, and Mako joint robot
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Patient experience requirement: AIDET
- Dress code: hospital-provided scrubs
