Job Summary
- Intermediate Care Nursery role
- Provides independent patient care as part of an inter-professional team
- Patient age range may include infancy through adult
- Focus areas include patient and family centered care, evidence-based practice, safety, quality improvement, teamwork, technology/informatics, professionalism, and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Additional Notes
- May guide, assist, and direct unlicensed assistive personnel according to California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies
- Responsible for judicious use of materials and supplies and prevention of equipment damage, misuse, or loss
