    Description

    Clinical Nurse II

    Location: Palo Alto, California
    Setting: Treatment Center OR Inpatient
    Schedule: Days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
    Contract Length: 16 weeks

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • 3 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
    • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
    • Experience working with Pediatric patients
    • Experience working with Adult patients
    • Experience in an Acute Care setting

    Required Skills

    • Proficiency with clinical equipment/machines, computers, and technology used in the nurse’s practice setting
    • Ability to use materials and supplies judiciously in direct and indirect patient care
    • Ability to guide, assist, and direct unlicensed assistive personnel as allowed by California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies

    Preferred Experience

    • Interventional Radiology experience

    Additional Notes

    • Possible mandatory overtime and on-call coverage
