Cath Lab Tech
Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Galion, Ohio
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
- Hours per week: 40
- Schedule notes: Every 3rd weekend and 2–3 days on call during the week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Work Expectations
- Traveler will stay on site when on call
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- 7-year criminal background check
- Education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprint attestation
- Primary source verification of state license
- Physical exam
- Fit mask testing
- Tdap within 10 years of start or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Employment application/resume
- Skills checklist
- Photo for badge
Additional Notes
- Onboarding and facility-specific documents must be reviewed and signed before start
- HealthStream modules are required for clearance and some onboarding modules must be completed onsite within the first week
- Radiation badges will be issued to applicable candidates
