Description
Registered Nurse
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract Length
- 15 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Rotating every other holiday
Setting
- Neuro ICU
- 18 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Required Experience / Skills
- Ventriculostomy
- Ventilators
- Arterial lines
- Central lines
- tPA
- Acute stroke management
- Post-craniectomy care
Responsibilities
- Titrate drips
- Read and interpret telemetry strips
- Float to other units in the hospital as needed
Additional Information
- Local placements are accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Drug screen required
- Submission requires the clinician’s last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
- Non-billable orientation: 12 hours
- Unit-specific orientation: 20 hours
