RN M/S Tele
Overview
- Travel RN position in Lake Havasu City, Arizona
- 1 opening
- 3x12s schedule
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
- No call scheduled, though shifts may be flexed to an on-call shift as needed twice during the contract
- 13-week contract
- Orientation weekly
- Floating to other units in the hospital is expected
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of RN experience
- Preceptor experience
- Charge experience
Unit Details
- Med Surg Tele unit
- 40 beds
- Adult/geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio: 1:6
Patient Population
- Total joint patients
- Surgical patients
- ACS
- Patients with acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD
- Alcohol withdrawal
- SIRS
- GIB
