Surgical Tech
Location
- Martinsburg, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day and evening shifts
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Assignment Details
- Start window: late October to early November
- Unit orientation: 1 week
- Clinicians will onboard at Ruby for at least 1 week before moving to Berkeley Medical Center
- May need to float within other services of the OR
- Mandatory call is required: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Holiday call may be assigned as needed
Case Mix
- Cardiac surgery cases include CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, and transplant
- Thoracic surgery includes robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures
- Vascular surgery includes diagnostic angiography, percutaneous interventions, endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair, visceral arterial repair/intervention, and amputation

- Surgical scrubs are provided
- Housing is available for call coverage at additional cost
