MICU Travel/Contract RN
Overview
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
- Hours: 36 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 60 per 2-week period
Work Setting
- High-acuity, fast-paced medical ICU
- Cares for medically complex, critically ill patients
- Standard patient ratio is 2:1; may increase to 4:1 for boarders
- Floating may be required, including to telemetry units if census requires it
- Weekends required
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Local candidates not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
