- Location: Napa, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
- Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP)
- Current certification in Chemotherapy (CHEMO)
- Current certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Current certification in IV Certification
- Current certification in Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- Current certification in NIH Stroke Certification
- Current certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
- Current certification verification as applicable for the profession
- State license verification as applicable for the profession
- NURSYS verification as applicable
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Education verification
- Background check
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Health and Compliance
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination, or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination record or declination
- Respiratory safety clearance
Additional Notes
- Traveler may be required to float to another facility within a reasonable distance
- Annual regulatory training modules are required
