Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (RD)
ARRT (CT)
Associate degree in radiologic technology

Job Responsibilities

Reviews patient history and physician orders
Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and exams
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
Monitors patient condition and responds to changes in status
Prepares equipment and supplies
Performs safety standards and quality control procedures
Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions
Positions patients and performs imaging procedures
Analyzes imaging results and addresses image quality issues
Enters, transmits, and reports scan results

Schedule

4x10 shifts
On-call: 50%
Every other weekend

Additional Notes

Floating between X-ray and CT departments is required
Completion of a CT technology certificate program is preferred
