Home Health RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Torrance, California
- Day shift: 8:00 AM start, 5x8 hours
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Home Health (2 years of experience)
- Home Health experience within the last year
- 1 year or more of total travel experience in home health
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Supervisory roles
- Experience with OASIS
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend coverage required: 1 full weekend plus 1 additional weekend shift every 6 weeks
- On-call is not required
- Must start on time at 8:00 AM
- Typical caseload is 5–6 patients per day
Territory
- Covers Los Angeles County
- Mileage radius: 5–20 miles
- Mileage reimbursement provided per IRS standard
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are accepted
- Pending license is not accepted
- Driver’s license is required for home health workers
- Supervisory or manager references are required before start
