RN (Registered Nurse)
Location
- Prescott, Arizona
Assignment Length

Unit / Department
- Float Pool
- Includes ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU across both campuses
- Includes inpatients holding in the ED
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Ability to titrate drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin

Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Holiday rotation with permanent staff
- Travelers will need to be flexible
- Night shift will try to accommodate block scheduling
Clinical Setting Details
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: PCU 1:4; MedSurg Tele 1:5-6
- Charge nurse does not take assignments
- Nurse aides are used in all settings
- Telemetry monitors are on the unit
- Nurses must be able to interpret strips
- RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high flow in PCU; CPAP or BiPAP at night in MedSurg
Orientation
- 8-hour general hospital orientation
- 12-hour shift at West MedTele
- 12-hour shift at PCU at West
Additional Notes
- Standby may be required on shifts with excessive staff
- Assignment is communicated 2 hours before shift start by text message from the staffing office
- Solid color professional scrubs are currently required; Navy scrubs will be required starting in October
