Operating Room
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Fortuna, California
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification required
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Skills checklist, if applicable to the unit
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask record
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, and respirator clearance documentation as required by policy
Additional Notes
- Float policy acknowledgement required
- Annual regulatory modules required
- Winter bill rate increase applies from October 4, 2026 through February 27, 2027
