PACU RN

Location

Fargo, North Dakota

16 Bay Phase I PACU

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Critical Care or Intermediate Unit experience
EPIC experience

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, with start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM
Call: 3-5 weeknights in a six-week period, plus 1-2 weekends of call in 6 weeks

Float Scope

SMCF PACU and Broadway Day unit (pre-post)
Will be trained to float to the Day Unit as needed to care for phase two patients

Additional Notes

Cannot take travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
Local travel rate applies to candidates living within 60 to 80 miles of the facility
Clinician must be noted in submission if they have ever worked for Sanford Health; if previously worked there, end date must be 6 months prior to submission date
All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Scrubs: Ceil Blue (provided)
Caring for all surgical specialties, adults and pediatric patients, including ICU, MRI, Oncology, and IR patients post-procedure
Equipment used: AcuDose Medication Dispensing, Phillips monitors
