Description
ICU RN
Overview
- 13-week travel assignment for two ICU RNs
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Unit: 12-bed ICU
- Shift: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Floating: Critical Care only
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:3
Required Qualifications
- Current Indiana or compact RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- At least 2 years of RN experience
- At least 1 year of ICU experience
- Comfortable with vent management, vasoactive gtts, and psychiatric patients
Unit Details
- Equipment used in the unit includes ventilators, Bipap, and EV 100s
- Charting and medication administration systems used in the unit include EPIC and Pyxis
Orientation
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- 7 days of mandatory orientation
- 2 days of floor training after jumpstart orientation
Additional Notes
- Caribbean blue scrubs required
