Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Santa Monica, California
- 16-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
- First-timers accepted: No
- Weekend requirement: Every other
- No on-call required
- May float to postpartum
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Guaranteed hours may be reduced by facility call-offs once per two-week pay period

- 266 staffed beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM
- FHM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Ability to provide postpartum couplet care
- Ability to work newborn role in delivery
Clinical Focus
- Fetal heart monitoring
- High-risk pregnancy monitoring
- C-sections
- Vaginal deliveries
