Role Summary
Provides evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assesses patients, develops and monitors care plans and equipment, performs advanced respiratory care modalities, educates patients and families, and responds to emergency resuscitation team codes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP Advanced
- High school diploma equivalency or associate's degree or technical degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support, accepted by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, accepted by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
