RN Centralized Registry Float
Overview
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Unit: General medical and surgical units
- Patient ratio: 1:5-6
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience at a large hospital with 450+ beds
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Schedule
- 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
Float Scope
- Floats to other medical units in greatest need
Orientation
- Jump Start orientation includes 1 day of general hospital orientation and approximately 5 days of nursing orientation
- Epic classes are included in orientation
Additional Notes
- Caribbean Blue scrubs
- Local clinicians within 50 miles are subject to a 12% reduction in regular bill rate
- Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Telemetry monitoring is used in the unit
