CVOR Tech

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Greenville, South Carolina
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:00–16:30
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • On-call required after shift hours Friday–Sunday during scheduled weeks
  • Floating required; may float to other units/campuses based on census and training, and may float to Main OR if CVOR volume is low
  • Unit volume: average of 3 hearts/day

Required Qualifications

  • CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • CST
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • First Assist roles experience
  • Experience with Epic

Clinical Skills / Procedures

  • Aortic Aneurysm repair
  • Atherectomy
  • ASD repair
  • Cardiomyoplasty
  • CABG
  • ECMO
  • Mitral valve replacement
  • Pericardial window
  • VAD management

Scheduling Notes

  • Must take call at least two days each week and 1–2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on need
  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • All RTO, block, and special scheduling requests must be included with submission and are subject to facility approval at booking

  • Travel pairs and trios are welcome
