Description

PACU RN

Overview

Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per week: 36
Schedule: 4x10s with varied weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

ND RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS, all AHA
2 years minimum PACU experience
Able to take PEDS patients
Able to take high acuity patients
Acute/hospital experience
Large hospital (250+) experience

Preferred Qualifications

Critical Care experience

Role Details

Cares for surgical specialties, adults and Pediatric patients, including ICU, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and IR patients post-procedure
Based in an 18-bay Phase I PACU and a 14-bay Phase I PACU on 2 floors with same staff
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1-1 or 2-1 per ASPAN Standards
May float between campuses for Phase I PACU

Unit Notes

Uses Epic charting, AcuDose Medication Dispensing, Phillips monitors, vents, and BiPap
Hospital provided scrubs
Orientation includes basic hospital/unit orientation and a Buddy RN on unit
Backup call in rotation may include 2 weeknights per month and up to every 4th weekend

Additional Notes

Cannot take travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
Local travel rate applies for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility
Manager will reach out directly to interview prior to offering
