Cath Lab RN

Overview

  • Temp Cath Lab RN assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma
  • 13-week contract
  • 8-hour day shift
  • Rotates call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • NIHSS
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Details

  • Complete Cath Lab providing Cardiac and Peripheral Services
  • Procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, Carotid diagnostic and stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
  • Must be proficient in monitoring Cath Lab patients using the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
  • Must be proficient at monitoring LEXISCAN Stress Test
  • Uses two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
  • Uses McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
  • Duties include helping with pre- and post-area, transporting, and assisting with duties as assigned

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until after 6 months of former direct employment
