CT Technologist

Overview

• CT Scan department
• 5 procedure rooms: 2 in ER and 3 in the main Radiology department on the 4th floor
• Nights, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Weekly orientations on Mondays, except during holiday weeks

Required Qualifications

• Level I experience
• 2 years of core experience in the specialty being submitted to
• Level 1 Trauma experience
• Teaching experience
• ARRT (R)(CT)
• MRTBE CRT and CTCT
• BLS Certification
• GE scanner experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Must have their own vehicle
• Cannot work another assignment/contract while working for Dignity AZ
• Must have been gone from CommonSpirit for 12 months as perm staff to be considered for a travel assignment
• Onboarding must be complete by 1 pm CST on Wednesday before start; nothing may be pending
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance, maximum 2 attempts

• Weekend requirement: yes, depending on schedule, not every weekend
• Call: none

• Floating: no
• Fast-paced environment
• Travelers may work alongside other CT technologists for assistance
• Inpatient and ER setting
• Night shift parking is in a parking garage; other shifts are assigned to a parking lot and shuttle to the facility

Additional Notes

• Travelers can be expected to have nursing students, as this is a teaching hospital
• Common cases include routine CT exams, CTA with perfusion, and trauma cases
