ER RN
Overview
- 13-week contract
- Pendleton, Oregon
- 11-bed ER
- Trauma level 4
Required Qualifications
- RN
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- 2-3 years of experience
- Can apply for the 90 OR Emergency License
Unit Details
- 37 patients per day
- Ratios are 1:3-4
- No fast track
- Direct bed until full, then quick triage
- ER RN manage ER holds
- Room 3 is a standard ER RN assignment for psych/seclusion needs
- In-house security is available
- RT is in house 24/7
- ER RN do everything in the ER, including phlebotomy and reading strips
- Imaging department is next to the ER
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Shift times include 07-19, 10-22, 13-01, and 19-07
- Every other weekend
- Holidays required unless off in signed contract
- Call is rarely required
Floating
- Floating only if you want to, and usually not for ER
Additional Details
- Unit-specific orientation is 2-3 12-hour days
- Navy blue scrubs
