CT Technologist

Overview

• Role: CT Technologist / CT Tech
• Location: Waverly, Tennessee
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Role Summary

Performs routine and advanced CT examinations for patients across varying acuity levels, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and trauma patients. Responsibilities include patient positioning, protocol selection, IV contrast administration, radiation safety, post-processing, and image quality review.

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Preferred Experience

• ARRT (CT) certification
• Recent acute-care hospital CT experience
• Emergency department and trauma CT experience
• CT angiography (CTA) experience
• Experience with stroke and trauma protocols
• Experience performing portable or procedural CT examinations when applicable
• Experience with advanced post-processing and 3D reconstruction
• Experience working with high-acuity and critically ill patients
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record systems
