Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Los Angeles, California
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
Role Details
- Labor and Delivery RN
- Unit includes 4 Triage, 11 LDR, 2 OR, NICU, and Post-Partum
- Low and High Risk L&D
- May float to Perinatal
- Accepts first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- AHA BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- AWHONN Advanced
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- None stated
Additional Notes
- RTO must be submitted with the application
- No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Up to 3 days of RTO maximum
- 1 holiday RTO may be submitted, but approval is not guaranteed
- If not needed for the scheduled shift, the RN will be placed on call
